National American Woman Suffrage Association, 1848-1921

The Library of Congress offers digital access to a subset of its collection of documents from the National American Woman Suffrage Association (NAWSA). The collection was donated in 1938 by NAWSA and came primarily from former president, Carrie Chapman Catt. The site allows access to 167 documents (about 10,000 pages) that include books, pamphlets, meeting minutes, scrapbooks and photos, produced between 1890 and 1938. The entire collection, available at the Library of Congress, contains between 700-800 titles. Great for quick research, the site offers the ability to search the sub-collection by keyword, author, title or subject. In addition, the site provides a timeline of woman's suffrage from 1776-1923. While not particularly pretty to look at, the site is a great resource for primary documents !
